Arjun
25 year old, software engineer by profession, Lost his parents early and had a younger sister whom he left in an Orphanage for a better care. He could never forgive himself for this although.
Always wanted to make it big in life.Longs for his his younger sister and wants to find out her whereabouts and give her all the happiness in the world.
Aanchal
19 year old student. Arjun's younger sister. Was left in the Orphanage by her brother after there parents passed away. Blames herself for her condition and her brother's abandonment. Loves and yearns for him all the time. Had an extremely tough childhood once her brother left her!
Raghav
24 year old software engineer by profession.Arjun's best friend, confidant and business partner. Found Arjun after he had left his sister. The two boys became each others only family!

It was 8 p.m. and Arjun had just parked his car and rushed inside home.
It was pouring heavily almost as if it was a cloud burst.
As he rushed inside, Nandu his househelp came up and looked worriedly outside the door
"Didi aapke saath nahi aayi?" Nandu asked him
Arjun was stunned hearing this..
"Pihu ghar nahi aayi ab tak?
Tu ab bata raha hai?"
"Bhaiya bahut try kiya, aapka phone band aa raha tha aur Didi ka bhi.. baarish bahut tez hai bhaiya...Didi kahan hogi abhi???
Agar vapas nahi aayegi toh bhi phone toh kardeti...aapki kuch baat hui hai kya?"
And Arjun stood frozen at the doorstep for a moment, he didn't know if she had left the house forever, if she ever wanted to return to him, he had no clue...no idea!
Suddenly a loud of thunder of clouds broke his trance...even if she never wanted to return, she could atleast let him know.
Or maybe that was just too much to ask for..life brought him exactly to the same moment of his past.
His eyes welled up...No not today!
He won't let history repeat itself, he won't let her go...not tonight...definitely not tonight!
As he went out, he saw Raghav's car screeched outside.
Raghav came out of his car looking extremely miffed as he ushered Pihu out of the car.
She was drenched and shivering. Raghav brought her inside the house and spoke angrily
"Yeh koi tareeka hota hai kya, ek toh dono bhai behen ke phone band rehte hai...phone rakha kyun hai yaar?
Doosri baat ghar se 20 km door, medical college ke raaste me....kitni soonsan sadak hai woh...kya kar rahi thi, aisi baarish me???akeli thi yeh wahan par!! Upar se kuch poocho toh, bata bhi nahi rahi thi....zubaan par toh jaise tala laga hai!
Woh toh by chance mujhe us taraf se aana pada!
Tumhe wahan itni raat me, baarish me akela dekh kar kitni jaan nikli meri pata hai??
Tumhe kuch ho jaata toh?? Aaye din news me kya kya aata hai..pata hai na??
Kya jawab deta main Arjun ko?"
Raghav had really lost his cool on her.
He saw her near the Medical college road, while it was a busy street during the day. It was completely stranded today due to the heavy rainfall.
Pihu kept on looking down while shivering and sobbing hearing Raghav's agitated voice.
"Tu dekh ise, main jaa raha hoon" Raghav finally spoke in a soft tone looking at Arjun
As Raghav left, Arjun wrapped up a towel across Aanchal's shoulder and spoke in a soft tone
" Jaake kapde badal le, thand lag jayegi varna...jaa andar" He ushered her in her room and went on to make some tea for her.
As he heard the door being unlocked, he went inside and saw her sitting quietly on the corner of the bed.
She was still sobbing, her frail body still shivering due to cold, her long hair were still dripping water droplets.
It pained him to see his little girl in that state,his heart and eyes were tearing up looking at her plight.
It was all his fault and while he deserved all the pain and punishments, seeing her rather suffer tormented him even further.
He went inside and sat near her and wrapped her in a warm blanket.
Handing the hot tea mug into her cold hands provided much needed relief. Arjun quietly picked up a towel and started drying her hair gently.
"Sorry!" She finally spoke
Arjun was overwhelmed, tears trickled down his eyes.
"Main aapko pareshan nahi karna chahti thi...sach me" She continued as tears streamed down her eyes
Arjun took her chin in his hands and wiped her tears and sat beside her.
"Aunty ka phone aaya tha, woh building jahan main rehti thi woh redevelopment me chali gayi..maine uske paas me hostel bhi dekha par wahan fees bahut zyada thi.
Meri ek classmate ne bola tha ki medical college ke paas accommodation hai, isiliye gayi thi..par wahan bhi possible nahi hua..
Kaku bhi 10 din ke liye bahar gayi hai, nahi toh main unke yahan chali jaati.
Aap sochoge ki roz kuch na kuch bahana banati hoon, aapke theek hote hi main jaana chahti thi..lekin"
And she sobbed badly
"Main sach me aap par bojh nahi banna chahti..sach me...main jhooth nahi bol rahi hoon"
Arjun finally had had enough! He got up and left and came back and quietly placed the house keys in her hands.
"Main jaanta hoon ki maine aaj tak apna koi farz nahi nibhaya..main is layak bhi nahi hoon ki tu mujhe apna bada bhai maane ya phir tere mooh se bhaiya sunu.
Main yeh bhi jaanta hoon ki mera saath rehna tujhe sirf takleef deta hai, har roz mera chehra dekhna...main samjhta hoon!
Lekin is sab ke baad bhi, tune jis tarah mera khyaal rakha..shayad koi aur teri jagah hota..koi nahi karta!
Pihu agar tu mere saath nahi rehna chahti toh koi baat nahi hai, lekin Beta ye ghar tera hai, sirf aur sirf tera... aur agar hum saath nahi reh sakte..toh main yeh ghar chhodke chala jaoonga..tu nahi!"
Saying this he pressed the keys in her hands and patted her head.
"Main khana lekar aata hoon, kuch kha le aur aaram se soja"
Her hands were still very cold and stiff as Arjun got a plate of food he spoke in a pleading voice as her gave her a morsel
"Main khila doon please? Mere haath se khayegi ek baar?
Misty eyed she looks up to him "Aapne khaya?"
Her concerns even now were enough to shake him to the core.
He nodded in a No and she immediately took the morsel and fed him first.
Arjun held her hand and sobbed like a child.
"Please, Please mujhe sirf ek mauka chahiye...guzra hua waqt toh main vapas nahi laa sakta...lekin aane wala behtar kar sakta hoon...please yeh ghar chhodke mat jaana.. main chala jaaonga yahan se...par please tu nahi!"
"Aapko mere yahan rehne se koi pareshani nahi hai?"
"Nahi na,bachche" Arjun whimpered
"Aapko mere saath rehne se bhi koi pareshani nahi hai?"
"Main kya karoon ki tujhe iss baat par bharosa ho? Please ek baar mujh par yakeen karke dekh...Jaanta hoon, mushkil hai...par please"
"Main yahan rahoongi toh, Aap please yeh ghar chhodke,mujhe chhodke toh nahi jaoge?" She asked meekly
As Arjun found a ray of hope..."Kabhi nahi jaaonga, promise Pihu...main phir kabhi tujhe chhodke nahi jaoonga"
The siblings cried together however as much as both of them wanted to embrace eachother neither of them had the courage to do so!
Arjun still patted her hair and said
"Raat bahut ho gayi hai..soja ab..haan aur agar tujhe badal garajne se darr lage to mere kamre ka darwaza khula hai...aa jaana mere paas."
As Arjun lay down on his bed, he could visualize his entire past right now!
