Aanchal went to the Cafe and straight away went in the kitchen. Today had been very testing for her.
She had already cried a lot, but the moment she saw Kaku, she broke down again and narrated her entire day.
Her phone kept on buzzing, Aanchal finally picked it up
"Aanchal, please meri baat suniye...main jaanta hoon aap naaraaz hai..hona bhi chahiye..jo bhi tha galat tha...par Aanchal sach me saari galti meri thi..Ajju ko koi galti nahi thi..main laaya tha..use pata bhi nahi tha...please..sach me ..jhooth nahi bol raha"
Raghav pleaded over the phone and Aanchal on the other hand teary eyed just cut the call and sobbed again. She had been crying eversince she came back from the hospital.
Kaku wad extremely angry at both of them
"Koi zaroorat nahi hai kal se uske paas jaane ki, hadd hoti hai badtameezi ki, gairzimmedari ki"
Hemant too patted her hair, Aanchal was heart broken.
"Dil par koi bojh mat rakh beta...humne pehle bhi kaha tha..tujhe jo theek lage woh kar...you don't owe any explanation to anyone..nahi aaj ke baad baat karni, nahi milna...na sahi..Hmm"
He ruffled her hair "Kaku main zara kaam se bahar jaa raha hoon, Beta tujhe mann na ho toh tu bhi ab ghar jaa"
Hemant left from Cafe and went straight to the hospital.
As he entered, he felt deadly silence, both the boys sat with their heads bowed down and and faces full of regret.
Hemant sighed and Raghav looked up, in a broken voice he said
" Uncle saari galti meri hai, Ajju ki koi galti nahi hai...Maine sab kharab kar diya..
Woh bachpan se kitna tadpa hai,dekha hai maine...aur ab jab sab theek ho sakta tha...meri wajah se bigad gaya!"
Raghav cried badly.
Hemant put his hand on his shoulders, made him sit and sat on the bed near Arjun
"Kaku bahut naaraaz hai, use bahut bura laga kyunki tum dono ne us insaan ko takleef di jise woh bahut pyaar karti hai"and he let out a deep breath
The boys kept their head bowed down feeling guilty
"Aur maze ki baat ye hai ki Aanchal ki naaraazgi ki bhi yahi wajah hai"
And Hemant smiled, the boys looked up puzzled
"Tumne use takleef pahuchane ki koshish ki jise woh sabse zyada pyaar karti hai...Tum batao kya iss haalat me Beer nuksaan nahi degi tumhe?"
Arjun and Raghav looked blankly at him
"Mmmaain..."
Arjun mumbled
"Beta aaj ye baat khul kar hum sab ke saamne aa gayi ki Aanchal ko bhi teri utni hi parwah hai, jitni tujhe uski...jitna pyar tu apni behen se karta hai woh bhi utna hi pyar apne bhai se karti hain...tumhare beech waqt ka faasla hai, lekin dilon me dooriyan nahi hai....
Aaj bhi tum uski zindagi ka sabse ahem hissa ho...You matter so much! It's so obvious now!
And I am so glad this happened "
Both of them really couldn't comprehend him
"Aap kya keh rahe hai Uncle??? Mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai...kahi maine use phir se kho toh nahi diya?"
"Beta, darna tujhe tab chahiye tha, agar use koi farak nahi padta toh..tu jo kare ...na kare..indifference se darna chahiye...
Uska pyar, uski parwah sab toh aansuon ke saath bahar aa gayi!
Infact celebration toh aaj banta hai"
Hemant smiled ear to ear
The boys got confused
"Pihu ne dophar se baat nahi ki mujhse"
" Toh pehle konsa karti thi?"
Hemant chided
"Lekin sirf ye sochke ki iss halat me tu Beer peene wala tha...kitna rona dhona machaya"
"Haan par" Raghav was still unsure
"Ek baat bata, agar Pihu ko pata chalta ke baju ke room wala patient Beer pee raha hai... toh kya aise react karti? woh aise hi roti?"
"Nahi" The boys spoke together
"Kyun?"
"Kyun Matlab? Unke liye kyun royegi? Kya farq padta hai?"
"Exactly!! Lekin tujhse to pada na? Woh bhi itna...ki na baat kar rahi hai, na dekh rahi hai...aur roye jaa rahi hai..."
And suddenly as if a ray of hope came in his senses but suddenly
"Bahut naaraz hai"
"Beta koi roothega nahi, toh manayenge kise? Hmm?"
"Woh kal se nahi aayin toh?"
Raghav still raised concern
"Aa gayi toh?"Hemant's optimism was infectious
"Naaraaz hai, bahut naaraaz hai, baat nahi karegi, aise pretend karegi,jaise use koi matlab nahi gai...lekin agar matlab nahi hoga toh aayegi kyun?" He continued
"I really doubt Uncle, ki ab mujhe dekhne bhi aayegi" Arjun said in a disappointed tone
"Beta, woh tere liye dinner nahi la paa rahi hai, aadhi jaan toh uski isi guilt me hai....3 time is hospital ka khana toh woh tujhe kisi haal me nahi khane degi...likh ke lele mujhse"
Hemant gave a new lease of life to Arjun. A new ray of hope!
Arjun prayed and prayed all night long.
In the morning at 7
Hemant called up Aanchal
"Beta ek order aaya hai party ka, tu aaj subah se hi aa sakti hain?"
"Subah se?" Aanchal's heart sank
Though she was extremely upset with Arjun but she didn't have the heart to leave him right now.. he wasn't even able to eat with his hands..the injuries hadn't healed and the wounds still pained!
"Uncle woh..woh...main shaam ko aa jau" Aanchal was unable to say she wanted to go to hospital...She feared He and Kaku might get upset!
"Main gaya tha shaam ko hospital, achhe se daant ke aaya...bahut sunaya maine...khoob gussa hua...
Rehne de use uske haal pe...khane de woh hospital ka khana..arre agar zyada dard ho bhi raha hai, swelling ho rahi hai...toh hume kya??
Khud galti ki phir raat ko bina khaye so gaya..aur so gaya toh so gaya..Hume kya karna...rahe jaise taise...ho BP low..hum nahi pareshan hote
Bahut kar liya tune Beta...ab chhod de"
"Kal khana nahi khaya raat ko? BP phir se fluctuate hua?" Aanchal got worried
"Rone se fursat kahan thi,mooh suja ke baitha tha ..arre na khaye..Hume kya?"
"Bahut dawaiyan chal rahi hai....Khali pet khayenge to acidity ho jayegi...bahut strong medication hai..aur IVs bhi baaki hai" Aanchal panicked now
"Ab Beta itna bada accident hua hai, toh ye sab toh hoga hi...abhi 3-4 din aur lagenge discharge hone ko....chot gehri hai na..bharne me waqt lagta hai...aur abhi toh stitches bhi nahi khule hai...unhe toh bharne kam se kam 10-12 din lagenge...woh khul gaye toh infection ho jaata hai....aur stitch bhi dissolving wale nahi hai na...jis din nikalenge dard to us din hoga...phir pata chalega!
..par tu pareshan mat ho....tu chhod"
"Cafe kab tak aayegi?"
Aanchal choked hard hearing Hemant...
"Uncle...main shaam ko hi aa paungi...kal jo hua so hua....abhi unki tabiyat theek nahi hai....aise nahi chhod sakti main...khud ko maaf nahi kar paooungi...Aap please bura mat maniyega...mujhe abhi hospital jaana hoga...3-4 din ki hi toh baat hai"
Hemant sighed..."Tu sure hai?? Dekh Beta, ab bhi keh raha hoon mat pareshan ho itna"
"Main sure hoon...rakhti hoon...khana taiyaar kar rahi thi...please "
"Theek hai Beta, jaisi teri ichha, bas zyada pareshan mat hona uske liye...dhyaan rakh apna bye"
"Ji Bye" Aanchal completely teared down as she put down the phone
As Hemant put down the phone, Kaku give him an extremely miffed look
"Chahte kya ho Hemu? Konsi party ka order aaya hai?? Tumhe bura nahi laga, Aanchal ki haalat dekh kar??
Nahi jaati woh ab se, tumne indirectly use coax kiya hai
Kitna royi thi woh kal!"
Kaku got mad at Hemant
"Jab se accident hua hai, tab se ro hi rahi hai...Aur phir kiske liye royi woh? Arjun ke liye hi na!" Hemant replied calmly
"Woh ye deserve nahi karti"
"Jaanta hoon...par tumne dekha tha na, Arjun bhi kitni koshish kar raha tha...behen hai woh uski...itne saalon baad lauta hai...ek mauka toh sabko milna chahiye"
"In sabse kya haasil hoga? Kam takleefein nahi dekhi us bachhi ne"
"Pihu ki khushi..bas...please bharosa rakh...woh bachhi mujhe bhi utni hi pyaari hai'
"Use phir dukh hua toh"
"Toh hum hai na...hum sambhalenge...par please...iss waqt mujhe tumhara saath chahiye please"
"You sure about all this"

Kaku though not fully convinced, gave in. They both smiled and hugged eachother and there Aanchal prepared food.
